Join the crew of the S/V Orion for a weekend of grey whale watching departing from Everett Marina. We will spend the night at anchor somewhere on whidbey island, along with whale watching, there will be an education component built around grey whale ecology, designed for adults and families. Orion's crew will teach you how to sail this traditional 1934 yawl, no previous experience needed. All your meals will be prepared by a professional cook and you will sleep onboard. The Orion has a main salon with upper and lower bunks and a private cabin. Heated down below for your comfort with a bathroom. Stops will be made for showers along the way. Spacious decks allow for lounging around while watching the abundant wildlife and a coered deck house with ample seating as well. Although alcohol is not served, you are welcome to bring it along.
