The Queen Charlotte Islands are remote and provide an unparalleled natural history experience - amazing wildlife, old-growth rainforests, hot springs, and ancient Haida native villages. The rich waters support a wonderful variety of whales and thousands of seabirds. Includes Museum & Haida dinner land tour.
The two main islands are Graham Island in the north, and Moresby Island in the south. The total Islands population is approximately 6000. There are countless beaches, wildlife, fishing holes, coves, and abandoned Indian villages to explore. The highlight for many people is a soak in the natural hot pools on Hotspring Island. The number of visitors is now limited, and only a select group of companies and guess are permitted to bring visitors to Gwaii Haanas.
