Liberty Clipper

Liberty Clipper, a newly renovated gaff-rigged schooner, is a replica of the renowned Baltimore Clippers, made famous over a century ago for their speedy and safe rounding of Cape Horn on expeditions to the California Gold Rush. Her authentic design is exceeded only by a state-of-the-art galley, modern accommodations for up to 28 guests, and a newly adorned grand salon. Each of our voyages is a once-in a lifetime experience where daily you will wake to the smell of freshly baked breads from your home on the sea. Nothing compares to setting sail each morning for a new harbor and a new adventure. (Note: If you plan to charter the whole ship for a special event such as a family reunion, we can accommodate up to 42 guests. (read more...)

The environmental message is emphasized by the ship herself. Adventuress is a metaphor for our planet: a closed system requiring understanding and care—which sails best when all aboard are working together. The leadership message is modeled by the crew, including volunteers, as they work and learn with participants.
